The position:
As our Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you’ll be the heartbeat of our warehouse operations team. From receiving and stocking inventory to meticulously handling shipping, inventory counts, and quality checks, your role will ensure our products flow seamlessly. You’ll also oversee documentation for shipping and receiving transactions, making sure everything is tagged, labeled, and matched precisely. Plus, you’ll monitor our transport vendors, ensuring our shop floor stays stocked and ready for action every day.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:
· High school equivalency
· Forklift Operator Certification.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in shipping, receiving and inventory control.
· Communication skills that shine (both written and verbal), an energetic and detail-oriented approach, and the ability to start tasks independently.
· Proficiency in computer use, especially in MS Word and Excel.
· Exceptional organizational skills and a knack for thriving in a team-based environment.
· Highly organized approach with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
· Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs unassisted.
· Other duties as assigned
