Sales & Service Associate— Winnipeg

We’re looking for a Sales & Service Associate to join our growing team at our Winnipeg, Manitoba location. The ideal candidate will embody the values of integrity, quality, fun, continuous improvement and above all, teamwork. If you’re a friendly, caring and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in your work, and thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment – then we want to hear from you! We hire based on experience, aptitude and willingness to learn. Work history in mechanical or industrial roles is a plus but not required.

Reporting to the Office Manager, this role is responsible for:

  • Attracting new clients and supporting existing ones by understanding their needs and providing outstanding customer service
  • Embodying the values of integrity, quality, fun, continuous improvement and above all, teamwork
  • Working with the team to establish a caring, helpful, and safe work environment

 

The Sales & Service Associate is responsible for:

  • Serving customers respectfully at the front counter and over the phone
  • Understanding customer requirements and gathering detailed information
  • Providing accurate quotes in a timely manner
  • Producing detailed invoicing
  • Communicating and working as a team across all departments
  • Utilizing search engines and navigating websites
  • Researching and collecting information on parts and equipment from various sources
  • Achieving weekly and monthly company sales targets
  • Looking for potential customers and servicing existing customers
  • Supporting the team and departments as needed

About you and your experience:

  • Have a strong ability to provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Experience providing customer service and sales required; Industry/mechanical experience a definite asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel; SAP experience would be an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to interact with customers in person and over the phone
  • You are highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work effectively under pressure
  • You have the ability to lift up to 20lbs
